THIS IS A STORY OF SAKURAI
PETERIA WHEN HE WAS 17...HE'S FIRST LOVE...
In a beautiful garden full of roses, a prince sat in the middle of
it with a princess by his side. The princess is sleeping peacefully on the
prince's lap while the prince caress her shiny gold curls. Everything was
perfect and the environment add in a scent of love. The prince bends towards
his princess and kiss her at the forehead. The princess open her eyes and her shiny
blue eyes stare directly into her prince's eyes. She smiles at him and says,
"What are you
doing?"
"Ahh...I just can't helped it when I look at your angelic
face. Please forgive my rudeness, my lady",he replies as he knelt before
her and kissed her right hand softly.
"Oh...You are so naughty, my prince. I wonders if you did
treat other princess like this too?", she says as she blushes a little.
"Oh...My lady, your words crushes my heart. Are you not
trusting me at all?", he replies, feeling hurt.
"No, my prince. I never doubted you. Its just that when you
are so kind to me, I'm afraid that the others princess will take you away from
me", she replied.
"I'm all yours my lady and I always will", he says,
"I shall always be by your side."
He leans forward, getting closer to the princess and.......
THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD!
"LORD SAKURAI!!! YOUR FATHER, LORD MORTIMER, WANTS TO SEE YOU
RIGHT AWAY!!!",says a young maid,rushing into the garden.
She sees the two in the middle of the garden in such situation and
shrieks,
"Ahh!!! I'm sorry!!! I'll wait for you at the entrance of the
garden."
She left without giving him a chance to explain. Later, the
princess walks out from the garden gracefully, stops awhile and stared at the
young maid at the entrance. The young maid step back and greet the princess.
The princess smiles,nods a little and leaves. The young maid sighed with
relieved.
"Oy!! Aren't we suppose to leave now?" said the prince
from behind.
The young maid turn around and stares at the prince with an uneasy
expression. The prince felt cold sweat rolling down his forehead and said,
"Oy!Oy! You aren't gonna tell this to father would you? You
can't just betrayed me!!!"
"Jesus! Wasn't that the 23rd princess in this
month?! I've got nothing more to say to you, Sakurai...", she replies with
a calmer expression,"You are disappointing."
"Hehee...Are you jealous, my dear little Annette?" he
says as he snickers a little.
"What? Are you kidding? Me jealous? You'll have to wait for
another 10 thousands years, young man. Besides, I've been wondering what will
your father says if he knew this", Annette replied with an evil smile.
"Oy! That's not fair!!! You made a promise not to tell",
Sakurai replies.
"Yes and you promise to never irritates me by whatever means,
remember", Annette answers, still smiling a evil smile, "Look who's
talking now?'

Sakurai went speechless. He's got no choice but to follow Annette
back to the palace. When they reached the palace, Annette leads the way to Lord
Mortimer's private room. Annette caught a view of Sakurai following from behind
slowly but feeling uneasy and nervous indeed. She smiles a little while
thinking to herself,"Haha...He must be praying hard that I wouldn't told
Lord Mortimer about it. How silly can he be?"
When they both reached the door to the room, Annette was asked to
enter the room first while Sakurai waited outside. This adds on more worries
for Sakurai because he knew that the private room is sound-resistant with thick
solid walls, thus, there is no way for him to know what's going on in the room
or what they are talking about. He was not able to even stand still when
Annette was in the room for 20 minutes. When the door creaks as it opens,
Sakurai quickly reach for Annette. He was nervous when he sees Annette's
unhappy and somehow worried 's expression. He step before her and bravely
asked,
"So,what happen in there?"
"Err....Nothing. Go in, Lord Mortimer wants to see you,Lord
Sakurai", Annette answers reluctantly and tried to leave, "I have to
leave now."
"Oy! What's with the Lord Sakurai stuff? What happen in
there?" Sakurai said as he grab Annette's hand, not letting her to leave
without a proper explanation.
Annette loosen her hand from Sakurai's grip and said, "Just
enter, Lord Sakurai. Lord Mortimer had been waiting for you. I still have work
at the farm. I need to leave now."

Annette left Sakurai without saying another word. Sakurai become
worried. He never saw Annette like this before. Reluctantly,he opens the door
and enters it.
"Father...?"
"Ah...You've come. Please have a seat."
"Er....Thanks."
"You know, son, I've been hearing rumours about you and it
wasn't any good at all."
"I knew this was coming!! That unfaithful Annette!!! Father
whatever she tells you it was all lies...It was..."
"Oh...I see. So, she's been telling the truth. I've mistaken
about her I suppose."
"What?! No, father, she was lying about it. She was.."
"Protecting your pride."
"Huh?What?"
"Like I said protecting your pride. I heard rumours that
you've been intimidated with her. I asked her in to make sure of it. But she
says,-
"It was not true,Lord
Mortimer. Lord Sakurai is a very kind and friendly person. We're just friends and..."
"Wait a second. She said that?"
"Well, yes. I doubted her and but she insists says,-
"I'll go Lord
Mortimer. Please don't do hurt Lord Sakurai. He's just being friendly. If I go,
things will get better again and everything will be calmed. I'll keep my
distance from Lord Sakurai, I promise."
"What?! And you let
her leave!!! I can't believed you did this dad!!!"
"SAKURAI WILFRID PETERIA!!! DON'T YOU EVER DARE TO RAISE YOUR
VOICE BEFORE ME!!!AND..."
"Sorry, father but I'm leaving."
"SAKURAI !!! She promise to keep distance from you to protect
your pride and status!!! If you leave now, you'll..."
"I know father. But Annette is far more important to
me..."

Sakurai open the door, rush out of the private room and went
around searching for Annette. He asks every single person he met all the way if
they saw Annette but no one seems to knew where she was. He felt helpless and
exhausted when Yuya, his youngest brother show up.
"Err, brother Sakurai?"
"Huh? Yes, Yuya?" Sakurai answers as he pants.
"I saw sister Annette."
"What? Where?"
"There, at the main entrance. She says she wants to go."
"Thank you, Yuya!!"

Sakurai rushed to the palace main entrance. He saw Annette was
already half way out of the Great Gates of the palace.
"ANNETTE!!!!!!"
Annette's steps stops. She turns around and sees exhausted Sakurai
walking slowly towards her. She gives a bitter smile, turn around and continues
walking out of the palace. Sakurai runs towards her and caught her by her hand.
"So, you are going to leave without saying a goodbye? Why are
you treating me like this?" Sakurai said as his grip tightens.
"Lord Sakurai, you are hurting my hand. Please let go of
me", Annette pleads while she struggles to set herself free from Sakurai's
grip, but it was useless.
"No!! I'm not letting you go and I'm not letting you to leave
me like this. You can't just leave without my permission!! I'm getting really
upset now, you know", Sakurai insists.
"But your father...He said he did...I can't just let that
happen!! Its my responsibilities to protect everything I care for. Please just
let me go", Annette plead again and this time with a firm tone.
"So, you did take on all this responsibilities alone?! NOT A
CHANCE!!!"
"Can't you understand Sakurai!! All this happen because of
me. I'm doing what I am suppose to do as a maid. I've never abandon my job as a
maid and I'll never do abandon my job even if anyone force me to. This isn't
just about protecting your pride and
dignity, I was protecting mine as well!!! But you, you make everything very
pathetic. I felt sorry for you", Annette says in a stone cold tone.
Sakurai was dumbfounded. He never expect such a word would come
out from Annette's lips. Annette look at Sakurai with a cold expression,
release her hand from Sakurai's grip that loosen little by little and left. She
took a few steps forward, stops and said,
"You said I didn't say goodbye to you,right? If this is what
you wanted so much, goodbye Sakurai...."
Annette left without looking back anymore. Sakurai stood there and
stare all the way as Annette walks out of the palace step by step without
anymore strength to hold on to her. When she's out of sight, Sakurai's limb
weaken and he landed at where he stood. And for the first time ever, it happen
to him, his tears was rolling down his cheek forming two stream of tears. He
was heartbroken and maybe Annette was right about a thing. He was pathetic.

The rain came along, mixing Sakurai's tears with it. And then it
happened. Sakurai released his first aura of his Dark element. Sakurai scream
as if he's being burned in the hell's fiery fire. His body lifted in the air
while the rain is pouring down furiously. The lightning and thunder follows and
then....it stops. Sakurai landed on the ground on his knees and his fist
tightly clenched. The rain stops. Sakurai slowly get back on his feet. He
somewhat look different, his eyes were fully red with visible dark veins on his
face. Horns of a bull can be seen as if it grown from his head but just for a
blink of an eye. The horns become invisible den and so is the dark veins, but
the red bloody eye remains with him.

Sakurai walks swiftly towards his father's private room. Using a
spell, he unlocks the door and enters it. He close the door behind him,
mumbling something as he closes it but not being able to be heard clearly
though. His father, the Lord Mortimer, was shocked at first but then he said,
"Ahh...It was you
Sakurai. I thought who did enter so suddenly. So, my child how was it did you
manage to get her?" Lord Mortimer asked, in a sheepishly innocent tone.
Sakurai kept silent and looked straight into his father's eyes and said,
"IT WAS YOU!!!! You made her leave me. You stole her from
me!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Son are you ok...??"

Sakurai was not okay. He lift in the air and mumble a silent spell
and a few Shadow Gates appears at the same time at different directions around
his father. His red bloody eyes glows while his dark veins and horns become
visible and he said with a evil smile craved on his face,
"Let play a little game father."
As he finishes his words, he disappear into one of the Shadow
Gates. The Lord, on the other hand, wasn't really shocked or afraid. He look as
calm as water and as if he was already prepared for it. He closed his eyes and
listen carefully for any movement. Then, he felt it, a slight wind from the
right but he casts his spell to the right. A nasty howled was heard for awhile
but it was back to dead silence once again. The lord felt another slight wind
from underneath him, and he cast his spell toward that direction but....he made
a wrong decision. The spell he cast enters the Shadow Gate below him alright
but it came right out from another Shadow Gate right before him and hit himself
on the face. He was minorly injured, coughs a little bloods but he smiles and
said,
"My son, it seems that you had had your powers improved. What
mades you to boost up your power this much at such rates?"
"It was easy..."said a rough voice from one of the
Shadow Gates.
"You thought me about it..."said another voice from
another Shadow Gates.
"I did?"
"Yes, and you thought me well enough about it..."said
another voice from another Shadow Gates.
"Tell me about it."
"It was..." said another voice before all the voices
from all the Shadow Gates formed said at the same time,
"REVENGE!!!!!!!"
The Lord wasn't abit afraid at all but instead he smile with a
little blood still dripping from his lips and said,
"So, I did...I remember seeing the way she dumps you by the
front gate...hmmm...What was that word she said earlier?.....Ahh!!!I remember
now...It was PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!"
Sakurai's anger was triggered to the maximum of it. He said in a
harsh nasty tone,
"SILENCE!!!! I'M GOING KILL YOU, MORTIMER LOREDAN
PETERIA!!!!!!!!!"
"Just try", the Lord replies, challenging him with a
smirk. The Lord then use his Shadow Gates for the door but something weird is
happening. His Shadow Gates wouldn't lead him out of his room. He was stuck in
it and in such limited space there's barely a way for him to escape safely and
the real trouble begins.

"My dear father, I knew you were going to escape from here
when it reached a state, but I didn't expect it to happen this fast."
"You sealed this room?! But when...? Ah!!You mumbled
something before. You were actually sealing this room and I didn't notice it."
"I thought it did be more fun to play the Game inside here.
It's too late for anyone to come for you, now Mortimer!!Its just you and me
alone now!!!!And YOU SHALL DIE IN MY HANDS!!!!!!!!!!"
The situation gone worst when more and more of the Shadow Gates
appear. The lord tried to detect his son position but with all the Shadow Gates
keep popping out and disappearing, it was a tough chase. Sakurai keep coming
out from different Shadow Gates and in a flash disappears into another and
still being able to cast Dark spell on his father and got his father more
injuries and wounds. The Lord merely being able to avoid from his son as he was
too fast and sometimes two attacks come from the same time. The Lord started to
worried a little, and said,
"Son, get your mind off of the revenge thing now or it will
eat you up!!!Too much darkness will ends you into a Beast of Darkness!!!!Get
back to your real self now!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Its too late father!!!!!!...."Sakurai's voice become
harsher than before while he is still attacking his father from all sort of
directions.
"Because...."he continues as he says.
"I already AM A BEAST OF DARKNESS!!!"
At the same time, a few half creature half human with faces like
Sakurai but with three eyes, came out from all the Shadow gates at once, caught
Lord Mortimer on everyside and then another one appear right before the Lord
himself, getting closer with sharp razor claws and said,
"GOODBYE FATHER ....."
Sakurai swings his claws toward Lord Mortimer's neck. His claws
was so sharp that it cut through the Lord's skin like scapel slicing slowly
through a patient's body in an operation. When Sakurai's claws were about to
cut through deeper into the Lord's neck, the door open slowly with a creak. The
two turn toward the direction of the door and saw the palace little princess,
Hanami Peteria had just entered the room. But something was not right, Hanami
was just 7, she was suppose to be taking her evening nap in her soft
comfortable room yet she just entered the sealed room slowly with her sleepy
face and her soft little teddy bear in her left hand.
"Daddy, can you sing me to sleep? I kept dreaming about
witches in my room. I can't sleep at all..."
"Honey dear...Daddy was busy now...Can you go back to sleep
in your room?"said the Lord while trying as hard as possible to control
his pain in front of her daughter. Her daughter didn't seem to be noticing the
battle between her father and her demonic brother.
"No daddy....I will sleep here and wait till you finish your
work...",said Hanami as she slowly walks to the soft sofa in the room and
lay on it.
"But, honey its dangerous in...." The lord couldn't
finish his words at all. One of Sakurai's creature covered up the Lord's mouth
tightly not letting him to speak anymore.
Sakurai slowly move closer towards Hanami and said,
"Sweetheart, since daddy's a little busy why not let me sings
for you..."
"Huh? Daddy what did you say?"said Hanami, all blurry.
It seems that the little princess didn't just NOT notice the
battle, she DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE SAKURAI WAS THERE!!! Sakurai was not happy with
it. Suddenly, he thought of something even better and smirks an evil smile.
"Well, well, Mortimer your daughter seems to be rather cute.
I guess it did be fun if I KILLED HER RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES!!!!!"
"NO!!!!!! SHE'S YOUR SISTER!!!! WAKE UP SAKURAI!!!!"
Sakurai swings his claws and...............SLASH!! Blood drips drop by drop and wet the carpet creating red
patches on it.

The whole scene went silent for a second. But wait, Hanami wasn't
the one bleeding, she is not hurt not even a scratch, it was actually Sakurai's
the one bleeding!! The claw seems to have cut through Sakurai himself instead
but how? It happen so fast that no one could barely see what really happen and
yet Hanami didn't seem to have even move from her place at all and she was
looking at bleeding Sakurai with her innocent look. The Lord was completely
shocked by what he had just saw. Sakurai hold his wound and howled in pain. He
felt the pain killing him, fell and knelt before Hanami unable to stabilize
himself.
Then, another strange thing happen. Hanami pulled his brother
sleeve a little and asked,
"Brother Sakurai?"
Sakurai was stunned. He thought Hanami didn't even notice him in
his current shape but he was wrong. Hanami did notice him, she could even
recognise him eventhough he is in his demonic shape and most important she was
not afraid of him. Hanami smiled a pure, naive smile and said,
"I knew it^^It really was you, my Lovely Brother Sakurai!!"
Hanami jump forward and hug him. Sakurai's fierce and beast
looking face was shocked. Then, it started to calmed down, getting better and
better until Sakurai return back to his normal self again. Sakurai hugs Hanami
closer to him. Hanami smiled again and said,
"Can you sing me to sleep Brother Sakurai?"
Then, she noticed it. Blood, her terribly injured father,
Sakurai's wound, everything. She knelt down and touch gently at her brother's
wounds at the stomach. Her eyes became watery, heart-broken to see her beloved
brother in such condition. Then, she speaks as she sobs,
"Does it hurts?"
Sakurai could hardly move yet he use the lasts bit of his energy
to whisper, "Thank you, my princess...." Sakurai collapsed right
after he finishes his words, and landed on Hanami. As he collapsed, all the
Shadow Gates along with those demonic creature disappears. His father fell on
the floor, badly injured on his neck.

Hanami was shocked. She stood there for a minute or two, then
slowly wiped off the tears on her face. She held both her hand on Sakurai's
stomach as if she was concentrating something on that spot. Hanami didn't even
utter a single word but a strange thing happen. Sparks of light started to
ignite from her hands. The sparks got brighter and brighter that a few of it
shoot out like fireworks. Hanami didn't move at all. She maintain her position
until the last sparks ends. The Lord watched the whole incident right at where
he fell. He was amazed by what her daughter did but he was not happy with it.
When everything ends, Hanami's vision went blurred and she felt
sleepy again. With heavy steps she walks toward the sofa and sat on it.
Everything becomes more and more blurry until it became a complete black out.
Soon, the maids and servants come rushing in. Some carrying Sakurai out of the
room while some trying to stop the bleeding from the Lord's neck and others
called for the palace doctor. Only the palace young, 20 years old, butler
notice their little princess was actually sleeping on the sofa. He carefully
carried her in his arms and brings her back to her room.

Keita, who just came back from archery, was surprised to see all
the servants and maids in such busy situation, rushing in and out. He asked one
of the maid,
"What happen?"
"Lord Keita, terrible things happen....there were blood all
over....and Lord Sakurai and Lord Mortimer....and the princess..."
"Hold on. Did you say Hanami was there? Is she hurt?"
"I don't know sir. I was with...
"USELESS!!!!!! YOU CAN'T EVEN TAKE CARE OF THE 7 YEARS OLD
PRINCESS!!!!"
He rush towards Hanami's room, enters it and sees Hanami soundly
asleep in her comfy bed. He sighed a relief. Then, he notices the butler was with
her. Keita asked,
"Why are you here? This is not a place for a servant like you
to enter. Get out this instant!!"
The butler stood up from where he sat, bends a little before Keita
and said,
"Yes, my lord. Such heavenly place like this was no place for
a servant like me. I shall retreat from here and I deeply apologized for my
rudeness to enter here without permission."
The butler was about to leave the room when Keita suddenly called
for him.
"Hey...Thanks for taking care of Hanami..."
"It was nothing, my lord. It is my duty to do so. Ah, about a
thing. I think you have the right to know it, my Lord. The Princess is very
special...Believe me...Take care of her, she might be a target for traitors,
you know."
Keita went speechless. He walks into the room and saw his little
sister sleeping soundly. He smiled looking at her. He was disturbed by what the
butler said but he felt relieved when he saw Hanami's soft fluffy sleeping
face. He walks towards Hanami, straighten her comfy blanket, bends a little and
kissed her forehead. Then, he straighten himself walk out of the room and
slowly closed the door. He wants to meet someone and he wants an
explanation.....
As Keita walks himself out
of Hanami's room, he slowly closed the door and head east, to the medic room.
He wants to meet someone and he claims for an explanation. As he was heading to
the medic room, he accidentally bumped into someone who is rushing from the
oppose direction. Keita looked up and was shocked.
"Annette....I thought you were...."
"Keita...sorry, I'm in the middle of an emergency now. "
"Wait...Emergency? How come you...? You are involved in all
this?"
"Er... I'm still a legal maid here,if my master is in danger
or anything I need to be there because that's my duty, right?"
"But from what I've heard, you were..." Keita paused for
a second and said, "Father, he did not set you out, did he?"
Annette nodded her head and said," Please, my Lord, I need to
go."
"Go, find Sakurai. I guessed I knew who could have possible
answer my questions", Keita said and left.
Keita turn around and head to his father's room.
"So, this is all that old man's plan, huh!?" Keita
thought to himself.

Keita holds firmly the door's handle and slowly open the door of
the Lord's room. The door opens with a creak but Keita didn't enter it. In
fact, he was too shocked to enter because he saw this....
"Oh my honey dear, you are hurt...Why aren't you more careful
when Saku-chan did this? You know how my heart hurts when I see you like
this..."
"Oh my sweetie darling, I'm really okay...I'm sorry that I
made you so worried...But this is all for our little Saku-chan...I guess a
little sacrifice is needed..Don't cry okay or you'll ruin this angelic face of
yours.."
"Ah~ You are always like this...You always made me worried
and cries for you...I'm getting mad with you, you know."
"No, darling, I knew you wouldn't. Because since you 'll be
worried and cries for me, you wouldn't be able to be mad at me..."
"Oh my honey chu~"
"Oh my sweetie pie~"

The two love birds were so into each other that they didn't notice
their second son, Keita Dwane Peteria was actually standing there at the door
staring at them all those time. When the two was about to kiss each other,
Keita interrupt. He probably couldn't bear to see his own parent doing such a
thing in front of him.
"Err...Excuse me?"
"Oh Keita!! Hehe...This is so kind of you to come visit your
father", said Lady Theresa, his mother, feeling awkward indeed. She's
probably ashame for what had happen just now as she didn't expect anyone to
see. Keita continue his main purpose of coming here and try not to think of
what had happen.
"Father, about Sakurai did you...."
CRASH!!
The three stop and stare at the person who had just crashed
through the door and enters the room.
"OLD MAN!!!"

Annette
rush to see Sakurai. In the medic room, lies Sakurai on the bed, asleep while the nurses and doctors check on
him.
"You
were his maid right?"said one of the doctors.
Annette
nodd her head slowly while her eyes still looking at Sakurai.
"Don't
worry. He's just too exhausted. After some proper rest, he should be alright.
Try not to stressed him out for now. I guessed that's all", said the
doctor again and left with all the others, leaving Annette and Sakurai in the
room.
"Saku..."

Annette
stares at him with a sad gloomy look. She close the door and gradually walked
near the bed.
"You
idiot....Why did you do that for?"she whispered slowly.
Just
then, Sakurai started to gain conciousness. He blinks his eyes for a few times
before noticing Annette there.
"Annette?
You've come back...I'm relieved."
Annette
looked down and speaks.
"Sakurai
why are you...."
"Why
am I?"
"Why
are you such an IDIOT!!!! ARGHHH!!!!" Annette screamed.

Sakurai
was so shocked that he wasn't be able to speak a word. After he calmed himself,
he said,
"I
thought I was losing you and everything and I thought it was all dad's fault
that you did..."
Before
he could finished his words, Annette punch him on his head and said,
"Idiot,
I was clearing off my leftover leave, you know."
"What?!
But you said you..."
"I
was planning about going on a vacation, you know. I knew you wouldn't let me if
I asked you, so I went to ask the Lord. And now you had ruined everything.
Ergh!! I can't believed you did this to me,you...you...MORON!!! Maybe I should
have left this place after all!!!" Annette screams.
"But
I.."
"Oh...Well,
forget about it. Take some rest. I'll go explain to Lord then."
"Hah?
About what?"
"About
canceling my leaves and taking care of you, my stupid little master", says
Annette with a smile of relieved.
"Wait..."
"Yes?"
"You
said you asked for leave right?"
"Uh
huh..What's the matter?"

Sakurai
went silent for a while before he suddenly crashed out of the medic room and
head straight the Lord's room. He ran so fast that he even crashed into the
door of the room with the Lord, the Lady and Keita staring at him, dumbfounded.
"OLD
MAN!!!!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!!!!!"
"What what ?"
"I thought you said you send her
out!!" said Sakurai furiously while he points at Annette who had just
reached the room.
"Lord Mortimer, I..."
"It's okay Annette. I have
something to explain to him too. Son, I...er...."

Sakurai was hoping for an answer but
instead his father suddenly started to laugh and his mother who was standing
next to him started to giggle too. The other three were stupidfied when they
saw this.
"So, my lady, I guessed it was a
success."
"Yes, and a great one
indeed."
"Err...What's all this?"
asked Keita.
"It was just a prank to fool
Sakurai.."
"WHAT!!!" shouted the three.
"How could you do this to
me?!" said Sakurai, irritated indeed
"We can't help it. You are already
17 and you never even show a sign that you are a black mage or something else.
We were worried if you had Mage genetic disorder or something. Besides, you
aren't very truthful about your feelings and flirts around all this time, so,
your mother and I figure out something to make you admit them. But, we never
thought it did worked this well. What shall we call this, dear?"
"To Kill two birds with one stone,
darling. Cheer up, Saku-chan, I have something for you."

The Lady hand Sakurai a photograph. It
was a picture of Annette and Sakurai when they were still babies and they were

"Ah!! That picture !!!"
Annette shrieked, snatches the picture away and ran out of the room.
"Son, this the picture your father
took when I and Annette's mother was bathing you and little Annette when both
of you are still babies", says Lady Theresa.
"That girl she kept that with her
all the time, you know", says the Lord.
"Err...What?"
"Even a six years old would
know...Sakurai, Annette had fall in love with you for a long time", Keita
continues,with a smile, "No girl would keep a picture of a boy with
herself for such a long time without a reason."

For a moment, Sakurai went speechless
and stumble backward. He turn around and rushed out of the room. He runs and
runs and then he smiles. He knew it, he had finally knew after all.
Without a sense of direction where he
was heading, Sakurai reached the rose garden he love most. There, he saw
Annette sitting there alone staring at the picture with her gloomy expression.
"Hey, you okay?" Sakurai
asked.
Realizing he was there she quickly slip
the picture into her pocket and turn around.
"What do you want? Leave me
alone."
"I want compensation."
"What?!" Annette said as she
turn around and look straight into his eyes. Sakurai held both her hands and
says,
"You kept my picture with you, so
I want compensation for it.
"What are you..."
Without warning, Sakurai pulls her
close to him and kissed her lips. Annette pushed him away, covers her mouth
with her hand and blushes as red as Sakurai himself did.
"Why did you do that
for....?"
Sakurai took a deep breath and with his
face still red, he says,
"I love you Annette. I really do.
Forgive me if I ever did anything and make you cry. Forgive me for saying
terrible things to you..."
Sakurai stop for a moment, took another
breath and continues, "...And forgive me for never realizing you were
always here, by my side."
Annette stares at Sakurai for a moment.
A tear rolled down and she quickly looked away. She sighed a little and
said,"I could no longer be your maid after all."
"I wouldn't let you. I want you to
stay with me."
"But, I can't. Sorry,
Sakurai."
"Then, stay with me for this
moment."

Three years had past, Sakurai still
couldn't forget about everything that happen that day in the rose garden. It
was the day he felt down, the day he finally proved he's a dark mage, the day
he had been truthful to himself but also the last day he had seen her.
"Ah...I'm missing her again",
Sakurai said to himself.
THUD!
THUD! THUD! THUD!
"Hahahaha~Yuya hurry up."
"Coming Hana-chan. You really are
fast."
"Hana-chan!! Yuya-chan!! Wait
up!!"
"Annette..."says Sakurai as
he stares at the maid who rush to his siblings.
Annette stops and look at him. She
smiles. She is back to the Peteria Palace, back to him....
